In July, 2025 I hosted our first workshop at Prakazita Zen-ctuary, and it was a truly magical gathering. Held during the full moon, this intimate event brought together kindred spirits eager to explore the art and intention behind spiritual cleansing.
The workshop centered on understanding how and why we clear unwanted energies from our homes and personal spaces. We explored several powerful tools and methods, each with its own unique vibration and purpose. Sage, palo santo, selenite, and our signature smokeless smudge became the focal points of our discussion—each offering distinct ways to shift stagnant or heavy energy and invite clarity and light into your environment.
Beyond the theory, we created space for direct experience and connection. The group moved through a guided meditation together, allowing everyone to settle into a deeper state of awareness. We chanted, grounding ourselves in sound and intention. Herbal tea warmed our hands and soothed our spirits as we gathered in circle, creating a container of safety and openness.
One of the most transformative moments came when we pulled angel cards. The messages that emerged felt perfectly timed, offering guidance and reflection for each person present. We then moved into intention-setting—consciously calling in what we wished to welcome into our lives. Just as important, we acknowledged and released old, outdated intentions that no longer served us, writing them down and releasing them over the sacred smoke of copal.
The full moon energy amplified everything we did that evening. There was a palpable sense of renewal, clarity, and collective purpose in the room. We left feeling lighter, more aligned, and deeply connected to one another and to the practices that support our spiritual well-being.
